"My Lady Mage" by Alexis Morgan

Warriors of the Mist Series

I really enjoyed reading "My Lady Mage" by Alexis Morgan. This is my first time reading one of her books, which is sorta weird because I have a lot of her titles from a different series. This is book 1 to the series "Warriors of the Mist". I'm guessing 5 books, based on 5 Warriors. By the way, I'm not a reviewer by any means of the imagination & I promise this won't read like your typical review :-) I'm sticking to easy--> K.I.S.S. {Keep It Simple, Stupid} lol

From the first few pages, I was sucked in & hooked. I found that when I was able to read the Warriors of the Mist, that I had a hard time putting this book down, when I really needed to :-) It has the paranormal, without all the vamps & wolves <--refreshing and it still worked for me) Each of the 5 Warriors are very likeable, unique, hunky men. The main female, Merewen, was not a typical pushover. Merewen <-- her name is my only ehhhh I have with this book. It's not an awful name, I just didn't luv it for a redhead with her personality, plus it's a little hard to read, while reading. It's got to be the 3 syllable thingy. Each of the men are connected with their leader Gideon. They are cursed & ruled by the Gods but are summoned when the cause is justified. The warriors also each have their own cool, special pet, that you'll get to meet when and if you read this book :-) I really loved the spin with "The Lady of The Lake" <--for me, it was a great way to begin their journeys.

The story of "My Last Mage" contained action, suspense, heart-aches <& breaks>, life affecting situations- lightly touching with abuses and a very believable, romantic, love story. The only thing that bugs me is that now I have to wait for bk# 2 to release in March 2013. I usually won't read a series until I have the first 3 books. Aaargh :}

My rating:  didn't like itit was okliked itreally liked it (my current rating)it was amazing

GFC- Google Friend Connect is Going Away

I am such a big fan of other peoples Blogs, Facebook Pages & Authors Pages. So much so, that I probably get a minimum of 200 emails every day. Reading my emails & updates from you guys are in part, responsible for my happy well being. This is my hobby or obsession, depending on your view but I really do enjoy & envy those of you who post: Book Information, Pictures of New Upcoming Books, Blogger Interviews, Reviews, Author Interviews & News and all of the other fun stuff that you guys do. aaaand...... It saddens me that they are dismantling Google Friend Connect "Not Just" because I am losing 28 wonderful folks that follow my [very abused by lack of posts] blog but even more so because I will lose the ability to continue learning, finding & following all the other new or great blogs out there that I haven't found yet. It's because of GFC, that helped me to find you guys in the first place. GFC helps me keep track of the Blogs that I do follow as well as Hops & Contests that I try to win in. If I see my picture thumbnail when I click on your sites, I know that I am already following ya'll. I don't know what is going to happen or how it's going to affect things with all of us when they take this feature away but I already know that I will have a harder time finding new book blogs. It's amazing how technology can shape & change how we do things in life but how is this change making things better? I guess we'll see when that time comes.
